Abandonware Precedence

Lots of AD&D video games from the gold box era are considered abandonware. So the removal of old PDFs is not the first time that property with D&D trademarks has been abandoned. But now we enter the land of the DMCA. Don't copy that floppy! Now I want to go back to talking about hexagons.

Well what's the problem with abandonware? There are tons of sites with manuals , pdf boxes, games to download and walktrhoughts. If the company doesn't sell them anymore they somehow must be accessible. Don't you listen to mozart songs? If they decided to see who owns them their would be lost....

I am making an argument for PDFs of D&D written game materials to be sold or offered through a legit means. Abandonware is a cool legal no mans land that lets us play old stuff.
